We are monitoring the CDC and WHO websites and taking all\nnecessary precautions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current situation\nis very fluid and changing hour-to-hour. Patients are encouraged to check the\nfollowing resources for up-to-date information on COVID-19, including how to\nbest keep yourself safe and what you should do if you suspect that either you\nor a family member may have fallen ill with this virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-nCoV\/index.html\"><strong>Centers\nfor Disease Control<\/strong><\/a><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our offices remain open and we are continuing to care for\npatients in our community.<\/strong>&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CDC is&nbsp;<strong>not<\/strong>&nbsp;recommending postponing urgent or\nroutine care at this time. Therefore, it is safe and appropriate for patients\nto keep their appointments for office visits and surgery with&nbsp;<strong>all<\/strong>&nbsp;of their health care providers, as long\nas they are not exhibiting symptoms of coronavirus, have a known exposure to a\npatient with confirmed coronavirus or are under self-quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note, we&nbsp;<strong>CANNOT<\/strong>&nbsp;perform testing for coronavirus on site\nat any of our offices. Please contact your primary care physician, Urgent Care\nor your local emergency room for an evaluation if you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><em>Have a fever, cough or cold\/flu like symptom,\nor symptoms of lower respiratory illness (e.g., cough or shortness of breath)<\/em><\/li><li><em>Have been exposed to someone that has been\ndiagnosed with coronavirus or someone who has had contact with anyone under\nquarantine for the virus<\/em><\/li><li><em>Have recently traveled outside of the United\nStates or been exposed to anyone returning from outside of the United States<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any of\nthese symptoms and have an upcoming appointment, we ask you to place a call to\nour office to reschedule your appointment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mountain West Hearing Center is committed to your health and safety as the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread.
